Day 341 - French Bread

So, I'm almost caught up.
I have the recipe that needs to be put up from yesterday and this post to do.
I hope to finish both tomorrow in addition to doing tomorrow's post.

Today I made French Bread for the meatball subs I planned on serving for dinner tonight.
Long story short, they didn't turn out so well and I made a run to the store after I took some pictures of these sorry looking loaves for some real sandwich buns.

These need to be revisited.
They are the sorriest looking loaves of bread I think I've ever made.

Here are the pictures.  Recipe to follow tomorrow.

This recipe is from The Fannie Farmer Cookbook; author Marion Cunningham; publisher, Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., a division of Random House, Inc,.

French Bread - makes four 14-inch loaves

I give you BIG baking hugs and muffins!!

  1. What a bummer that they didn't come out. Bread is very temperamental to me.
